Folia Files vs QSpace Pro

Folia Files or QSpace Pro?

What QSpace Pro does well

QSpace offers twelve layouts with up to four panes and saves them as workspaces. Its server extension covers SFTP, FTP, WebDAV, S3 and many clouds, including Chinese services. Folder sync, folder comparison, AppleScript, a customizable context menu and toolbar, and frequent releases make it a strong, inexpensive choice.

What Folia Files adds

Folia Files has no fixed number of panes — drag a new pane to any edge — and everything is in the price: servers, batch rename and the Shelf are not extensions. It also works outside its window.

  • A terminal under each pane (website edition)
  • Search inside documents and images, on the Mac
  • A clipboard history and a drawer at the screen edge
  • An assistant in every app's Open and Save dialogs
  • Space Lens and app uninstall with leftovers

Price

QSpace Pro is $13.99 on sale (regular price $29.99), with extensions for servers, batch rename and the shelf, for two devices at a time; the App Store edition is $12.99. Folia Files is $49.99 once, everything included, for up to three Macs.
