Terms of sale and license

The short version: one purchase, all your Macs, no subscription, and a refund within 14 days if Folia Files isn't for you.
1. About these terms
These terms govern the purchase of Folia Files licenses on foliafiles.com and the use of the Folia Files software (the “Software”), published by Wonderlink SL, España (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the Software, you accept them.
2. Our reseller
Orders placed on this website are processed by Paddle.com (“Paddle”), our online reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle sells you the license and handles payment, invoicing, taxes and refunds; Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
3. Free trial
You can use every feature of the Software free of charge for 7 days. When the trial ends, browsing, previews and file operations keep working; the other features require a license.
4. Your license
When you buy a license, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and perpetual right to install and use the Software on all the Macs you own or control, for your own use. A company may buy licenses for its staff: one license per person. Updates we make available free of charge are covered by your license.
5. What you may not do
- Resell, rent or share your license key publicly.
- Get around the license checks.
- Decompile or reverse engineer the Software, except where the law expressly allows it.
6. Price and payment
The price (49,99 € or $49.99) is shown before you pay, taxes may apply depending on your country, and it is charged once. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal.
7. Delivery
Your license key is displayed right after payment and sent to you by email. By completing your purchase, you ask us to supply the Software immediately.
8. Refunds
If Folia Files isn't right for you, you can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase through our reseller Paddle: use the link in your receipt, or write to support@foliafiles.com. The key of a refunded order stops working.
9. Right of withdrawal (European Union)
Consumers in the EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal for purchases made at a distance. For digital content supplied immediately, this right ends once supply has started with your consent. Our 14-day refund policy applies in any case.
10. Mac App Store edition
If you get Folia Files from the Mac App Store, Apple's terms — including its standard license agreement — apply to that purchase, and refunds are handled by Apple. Purchases do not transfer between the App Store and website editions.
11. Your files
The Software acts on your files at your request. Keep backups of important data. Operations are logged and most can be undone, but we cannot guarantee that every file can be recovered in every situation.
12. Warranty
To the extent permitted by law, the Software is provided “as is”, without any warranty other than those required by law. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, including the legal guarantee of conformity.
13. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or where the law does not allow it.
14. End of the license
Your license ends automatically if you breach these terms, or if your purchase is refunded or charged back.
15. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force on the day of your purchase applies to that purchase.
16. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence and may bring a claim before its courts.
